My name is Mollie. I have a B.A. degree in Communications (Journalism focus) from the prestigious Edward R. Murrow School of Communications at Washington State University. I was trained in the ways of traditional investigative journalism…the world that existed before the death of print newspapers and the rise of the Internet. As such, I’ve been hesitant to start a blog. It seems like cheating.

I was taught that you need to write about what you know — that’s challenging for me. Where do I start? I know a lot (or a little) about many different things, which makes it difficult to narrow my writing down to just one theme. As such, you’ll find musings about many different topics…all of which I am interested in and/or knowledgeable about.
